3/11/10: Spent a long day in NYC yesterday. Shot a TMS special called Scrap Metal that will feature outakes from this current new season 4 of TMS. We shot this at Duff's, which is a great metal bar in Brooklyn. It was fun to spend the day with Don & Jim doing our thing, which is just stupid insane behavior! Good times!! The folks at Duffs were really cool also. There is some great stuff that gets cut out of every show, so this episode will show some of that. We also shot some stuff for an upcoming VH1 show called "Undateable". Has to do with stuff guys do that girls hate. It was interesting to say the least and I have no idea how that will come out or how much we will be in. Finally shot some segments for two more updates of Behind The Music Remastered. You may have seen me in the Metallica, Priest and Def Leppard episodes where I come in at the end and update them. Yesterday I shot two more for Poison and Alice Cooper which will roll out starting in April. Ran into my old friend Bret Michaels as well. Was good to see him and he wants to come hang on the show soon. Said he's getting ready for a solo tour all Summer. Also had a meeting yesterday and found out that the entire 5th Season of TMS will now be shot in Los Angeles! We were going to do just half, but the response there has been so great we are doing it all on the W Coast. Got some killer guests lined up! We will also be part of the second Golden Gods Metal Awards show in LA the time we are there. Looking like a busy 2010 for TMS and as always, thanks for watching. And don't forget, still plenty of new shows to air in season 4. The new shows resume this Saturday night with Scott Ian and Pearl.
I have officially signed my first book deal! I have long wanted to do a book and am thrilled to have this amazing opportunity. The book will come out through Abrams Publishing which specializes in high quality, hardcover, photo driven books. This book will not be my autobiograhy (that may be next), but instead a listing of some of my favorite artists, great photos of them, my insights and suggestions on what to listen to from them, and many personal stories from my experiences with them. I'll tell some stuff never heard before about my dealings with these bands and more. I'll reveal more when we get closer as I'm still writing and it's still taking shape. Abrans does top quality stuff, so this is going to be great! More when we get closer.

I love that the R&R Hall Of Fame is this week and NOBODY is talking about it or seems to care. Think it would be different if they had Kiss or Rush or Alice Cooper going in? Still a ton of reaction to my rant about the Hall on TMS. Many have asked if I heard from Kiss about it and the answer is no. It seems like the only time I ever hear anything from that camp is when I say something they don't agree with, never the 95% of the time I am positive about the band, but that's OK, what's right is right and it's INSANE that Kiss along with so many other legends have been ignored.
