3/4/10: Amazing news to hear Iron Maiden and Dream Theater are touring together this Summer in the USA! I knew about this a few days ago but swore to Maiden's manager and Portnoy I would not say anything until the announced it first today. Going to be cool to see Maiden do a balanced set of old and new material. I like many of the things the band has recorded starting with Brave New World forward so it will be cool to hear some of that with the classics, which is what this tour will be, and maybe a new tune or two. Nice to see one of the all time great metal bands so active again here in America as well as other parts of the world. Also, great move by the Maiden camp having DT open. They will bring some of their rabid audience for sure and we all know what a fan Portnoy is, so this is truly a dream come true for the band and Mike. Congrats to them as they will fufill their dream of playing MSG finally. Dates are in the news section, see you at the NJ show for sure and maybe some others.

That Metal Show is coming to Los Angeles! We are going to be taping some shows on the W Coast for the first time ever mid April. Some great guests and we will be bi coastal for Season 5! If your in the LA area and want to attend a taping keep a close eye on this site for details on how to get tickets. NYC tapings will be end of April. And we still have five more new shows to roll out in this season. This Saturday will be a repeat of the Mustaine show, but all new ones resume 3/13.
Days away from officially signing my first book deal. Will share details when it's all wrapped up. It will come out next year.
Blackie Lawless will be my guest on ET Live this Monday on Sirius/XM. Getting some email from people upset that they lost the service on DirecTV. That is done for good, so you now must subscribe to either Sirius or XM to get the service. Remember if you don't want to buy a radio you can also get an online only sub. DirecTV ideal is not coming back so a subscription is the only option to keep the service.
Please note I am not very active with Facebook, Myspace, etc. This is the one and only online thing I truly update personally and the email through this site is the one thing I check a few times a week.
