3/1/10: Welcome to March already! Football season just 6 months away!! Yes I'm looking forward to the Mets season, but nothing like the NFL. Even watched the scouting combine this weekend on NFL Net I'm such a nut. Just got the entire new Scorpions CD and I will preview a bunch of tracks tonight on the live Sirius/XM show starting at 6P EST. I'll do at least one new song an hour, so hear new Scorpions first tonight on Eddie Trunk Live. This is the final album from the band so it will be cool to see what you guys think.
Great feedback from the current episode of TMS. Joe Lynn Turner is a great guest. Anyone who had heard him over the years on my radio shows know how great JLT is to talk with. We only scratched the surface of things we could talk about in his career and he was fun to have on. Also thanks for all the kind words about my kids and the segment with Don & Jim babysitting. Many seemed to get a kick out of it and needless to say my daughter is a star in her kindergarten for the week while my son is singing "Bark At The Moon". Getting the most reaction and props about my hammering of the R&R Hall. For those that do not hear my radio shows I have been doing that for years. It needs to be said. Was happy to have 2 minutes on TV to do it this past week. Everyone knows how I feel so I won't rehash it here, but this thing must be exposed until they get some real legends in there that have been ignored to this point. Special thanks to the many Kiss fans who also emailed about what I said. Its a joke folks and I am happy to keep exposing it as such whenever I can. Did you see the recent poll in Rolling Stone asking if Kiss should be in the Hall? The majority said yes. Their own readers, but they still won't listen! Disgraceful and Kiss is just the beginning.
This Saturday's TMS will be a replay of the Season 4 premiere with Dave Mustaine. If you missed it or want to see it again this Saturday at 11 is a reair. New episodes resume in 2 weeks on 3/13. Some great new shows still to come in Season 4.
