2/18/10: Sorry for the late update. Been busy on several fronts and still doing some interviews and press for the new season of TMS. Great response to last weeks show with Joey Kramer and the strong ratings showing for the network has been there also. I appreciate you guys all watching and supporting this new season. This Saturday at 11 another new show with Wolf Hoffman of Accept and the bands new singer Mark Tornillo. We are all big Accept fans and it was cool to be able to introduce Mark on TV on TMS as a member of the band. If you recall we also had him on the first show of Season 3 in the Whatever Happened To segment. The new music sounds great and as soon as I have some to play I will. Also, tickets on sale now for the Accept show I am presenting at Gramercy Theater in NYC May 8th.
It was just announced that Revolver Magazine will be holding the second annual Golden Gods metal awards in LA in April. This is a cool idea and I am looking forward to presenting an award at this years event, which will air on VH1 Classic. More details soon.
This years Download in the UK has AC/DC and Aerosmith. Awesome! Hope to be covering that as well.
People ask why I don't giveaway tickets on the Sirius/XM show. The reason is it's a live nationwide program, so it is impossible to localize it for concerts.
I have no updates as of now on the status of Rocklahoma for this year. When I do I will post. All quiet still, we shall see.
AC/DC are going to be releasing a special DVD of the classic concert film Let There Be Rock. I was asked to do some commentary for the DVD which I will shoot next month. Got an advance and it looks great. Also look for me in the new Metallica and Judas Priest remastered Behind The Music's. I added some new stuff at the end where they were updated.
Will be live in Q104 tomorrow night at 11 and Monday at 6PM EST on Sirius/XM. Info on guests TBA.
