Don Recaps Season 2 - Episode 7
It was SO cool to have Scott Gorham from Thin Lizzy on our show.  I'm a huge Lizzy fan so I was really geeked out to meet him.  He is one of the best hard rock guitarists of all time who has played in Lizzy with some of the best hard rock guitarists of all time like Brian Robertson, Gary Moore and John Sykes.  Plus, he's lived in London for over 30 years (originally from California) and has NO sign of an English accent.  Friggin' Madonna was there for 3 days and she was speaking like the goddamn Queen!

We opened the show with what band we think should call it a day.  I took a lot of flack for saying Ted Nugent but I was very clear about my explanation.  It's not that I don't love his music, I do.  I was just upset over his negative comments about Dimebag Darrell AFTER his tragic death.  I stand by my word.

Our field piece was called "Eddie Trunk Day."  Jim and I played security guards for "Mr. Trunk" as he signed autographs and took pictures at Vintage Vinyl Records in NJ.  It was a really fun day and we had fun messing around with the fans.

During Stump The Trunk we had a surprise CELEBRITY guest Stumper...none other than the comedy legend Andrew Dice Clay.  The Diceman was there more to see our Miss Box of Junk than our mugs so Eddie did the right thing and answered Dice's very easy question incorrectly.  After getting his prize and looking Kerri Lee over, the Diceman made his happy exit.

Someone wrote in to ask if there was any chance of a Rainbow reunion.  Oddly enough, there sort of is one happening right now.  Joe Lynn Turner is touring with a collection of Rainbow members from over the years MINUS Ritchie Blackmore but ADDING Ritchie Blackmore's son, Jurgen on guitar.  Don't know if he can play, but he has the name!

The Throwdown was Best Replacement singer - Brian Johnson vs Sammy Hagar.  Please, let's not even waste time with this.  Anyone who can replace the brilliant Bon Scott and take the band to a new level gets my vote ANY day.  No disrespect to the Red Rocker but VH was never better than they were with Diamond Dave.
