12/27/08: Hope everyone had a great Christmas. The special edition shows this year have gotten a great response. Mike Piazza returned to the studio to co-host the "All Covers" show last night. Great to have Mike in studio two of the last three shows. Lot's of cool and rare covers as well as some real funny talk and stories about the bands. Thanks also to Officer Wayne for dropping in with the holiday cheer! Playlist for this special up now in that section of the site. One more special edition show this Friday night live on Q104.3. It will be the Year In Review special where I look back at all the cool hard rock and metal from 2008 released and featured in my show. We will revisit some stuff and maybe you will discover some new things that you missed first time around. Also giveaways of some of 2008's biggest CDs and DVDs. After that we return to our normal format shows. Hope you enjoyed all the special editions so far. Many have asked about the KISSmas show this year with Ace in studio. That show can be heard one more time world wide for free online at www.knac.com this Monday 10A-1P EST. Soon after that it will be offered as a podcast on this site.
The final all new That Metal Show of Season 1 premieres tonight with Geddy and Alex of Rush! The first airing is tonight at 11PM ET/PT on VH1 Classic, repeats through the week. I can not thank the guys enough for coming to NYC to do the show from Toronto. Great people, great band! Can't wait for you all to see it. Next Saturday we will have a Best Of Season 1 special featuring some outakes and best segments from the first 7 shows of TMS.
