12/17/08: Thrilled to announce my good friend and original Kiss lead guitarist Ace Frehley will be in studio this Friday night to co-host this years edition of the Original Merry KISSmas special! Ace co-hosted a few years ago and we had a blast and it made the show that much more special. I'll do my best to provide a balance of music and interview along with your live calls for the Space Ace! Kiss giveaways, Kiss music, and the one and only Ace Frehley all this Friday night LIVE for the Orignal Merry KISSmas Special. Hear it on Q104.3 NYC from 11PM-2AM EST or live online at www.q1043.com. Of course this show will air the following weekend as well on all affiliate stations. It's been about 15 years now that I started doing this all Kiss special years before anyone else and they are always very anticipated shows. I first had the idea because as a life long Kiss fan I have always been, and continue to be, frustrated at how little of their catalog of music gets played on the radio. I also was always into Kiss first and foremost for the music, something that rarely gets talked about or gets the credit it deserves. Even though all eras of the band are played regularly on my shows for years, I take this one time each year to spotlight nothing but Kiss since it was the band and music that really set me on my path as a rock fan. This one will be extra special once again with Ace joining us! Also, Ace has launched his official site at www.acefrehley.com and he will be my guest on the new episode of That Metal Show on VH1 Classic premiering this Saturday night at 11PM ET/PT.
