Judas Priest at the Hard Rock Cafe, Time Square, 8/4/08

If you were in midtown Manhattan last night, and you heard an ongoing rumble from beneath the city, it wasn’t the subway system.

Instead, it was the Gods of Heavy Metal themselves, JUDAS PRIEST, performing a rare club gig downstairs at the Hard Rock Café in Times Square.

The band was on hand to celebrate 25 years in the business for Eddie Trunk, the tri-state area’s leading metal radio jock and VH1 Classic Metal host.

You could spot me at the front of the stage, camera in hand, frenziedly taking shots of Rob Halford, K.K. Downing, Glenn Tipton, Ian Hill and Scott Travis!

Be sure to check out “Nostradamus,” the new album from JUDAS PRIEST on Epic Records.
