"Death Magnetic" was produced by METALLICA and Rick Rubin, and marks the recording debut of bassist Robert Trujillo, who joined the lineup in 2003 shortly after the last METALLICA album, "St. Anger", was completed.
Metallica will play some of the European festivals starting later this month. The band's next American date is the one-day Ozzfest on August 9th in Dallas, with a full North American tour scheduled to begin in October.
