Rocklahoma, Ace Frehley, 25th Anniversary Party
Well here we are, already the first day of July, which for me means NFL Football is just a couple months away! Of course some major stuff still to come this Summer including Rocklahoma which is now about a week away. I've had so many emails from people looking to say hi, have a beer, or hang and shoot the shit in OK. As much as I'd love to be able to  hang, I do have a role in the festival which requires me to stay close to, or on the stage, and to interview the artists before they play. I'll do my best to free up some time to get out and say hello when I can, but it's going to be 5 long, hot days for me, so not sure how much free time I'll have if any. If your going have a safe trip and I'll see you there.

Speaking of Rocklahoma, Triumph bassist Mike Levine did almost two hours with me on XM this past Monday. Mike is really a cool guy and totally honest about his band and their ability and prospects for the future. They are taking it one step at a time and excited about their only US show at Rocklahoma.

Also just hung up with Ace Frehley who is also looking forward to the gig. Ace is now off the road as far as touring. He explained to me that he simply could not focus on getting his record done, getting a website launched, and other things, while touring. His plan is to do the Rocklahoma gig, then spend the Fall getting the CD finally done, with another run of dates end of the year or early next year. Ace also said he had a blast playing recently with Pearl Jam at MSG and he hopes his next run of shows can be bigger places maybe as a special guest. The festivals in Europe were also really cool he said, and he did not see Kiss or any of the members when they both played the Download Festival (they were on different days). Ace sent me a few photos from Sweden and the UK which I will post on the site.

Response to the Anniversary party has been unreal. I can't stress enough to please register to win through the site. Tickets are very limited and this is the best way to be in the running to get in. We will be picking winners right up until a day or two before the event.

Have a happy 4th, and I will be live 4th Of July night 11-2 on Q104.3 NYC and www.q1043.com with a regular show!
